The Communication and Language Enhancement for Academics and Researchers (CLEAR) project supports Monash staff to develop the communication and teaching skills necessary for working effectively in a diverse
teaching and learning community.
CLEAR assists academic staff to:
- Improve spoken English clarity
- Interact more effectively with colleagues and students
- Teach with greater skill and confidence
- Develop intercultural communication skills and strategies
- Spoken English & Communication Skills Development
An individualised program delivered over eight, intensive two- hour sessions.

Workshops designed in consultation with Faculties to target teaching skills
Workshops aimed at building staff intercultural awareness and skill.
- Self directed learning
Online resources, links and interactive software targeting spoken language clarity and intercultural learning from a staff perspective.
- Colleagues online
A staff online environment with information, case studies, forums, mentors and Monash model teachers, questionnaires and surveys.
