Profile

I joined CALT as Administrative Assistant in October 2007. I am currently the Administrative Officer for the Carrick PEI project and the CLEAR project.

Prior to working for Monash, I worked for AusAID in the scholarship project office in Jakarta as Promotions Coordinator. I also have several years of experience in sales-marketing in the IT industry.

I am very interested in cross-cultural communication, social issues, English language, information technology, and office administration. Apart from my formal qualification, I am also NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) accredited translator in Indonesian. My next goal is to get a NAATI accreditation in translation into English and interpreting.

Projects

I held a major role in planning and coordinating the promotion of Australian Partnership Scholarships (APS), an Australian Government scholarship scheme through AusAid. I was also in charge in producing APS information discs in 2006 and the development of APS website (http://www.apsprogram.or.id).

With CALT, I assisted the Senior Administrative Officer in organising the Vice-Chancellor's Showcase 2007. I also have had a major role in updating and developing the CALT-Carrick website (http://www.calt.monash.edu.au), and the CLEAR Project website (http://www.calt.monash.edu.au/quality/CLEAR ).
