Profile
I am employed part time, by CALT, as Co-ordinator of the Educational Technology
Committee (ETC).
This position enables me to apply recent studies towards a PG Diploma where I developed
special interests in Information and Communication Technologies in Education and
Internationalisation of the Curriculum. In particular my studies involved exploring
studies of learning models incorporating difference and culture in online learning.
My current position with CALT, a centrally located group, follows six years of employment
with the Faculty of IT. Prior to working at Monash I was employed as a secondary
education teacher, an Executive Officer for the Career Education Association of
Victoria and in tertiary education as a Community Liaison Officer. I spent many
years as a full time parent. This time included the expanse of voluntary community
and casual paid work that typically accompanies this role.
